OUR PURPOSE

There are a million marketing agencies out there – why do we work at JoyLab and why do our clients choose to partner with us?

We believe that making a living is important but making a difference while you’re doing it is what really matters. We partner with nonprofits and small woman and minority-owned businesses who are creating change in the communities they serve, and we do everything in our power to amplify their impact.

Another reason clients choose to partner with us is our commitment to creating access. We partner with Urban Peak to provide two internships a quarter in marketing, web and design positions to build skills, relationships and badass level confidence.

Gender Health Center

JoyLab worked with the Gender Health Center in Sacramento on their health care outreach project, Health Care Revolution. From inception to execution, we were there every step of the way. JoyLab created branding, marketing materials, a social justice campaign and website centered around the goal of getting LGBTQ+ folks enrolled for coverage under the ACA.

The project was a success, resulting in over 1,500 individuals getting the information and support they needed to get covered.

Urban Peak

JoyLab has partnered with Urban Peak, a nonprofit working with youth experiencing homelessness in the Denver area, as our pro bono client. In 2016, Urban Peak served 1,814 individual youth, providing shelter, outreach, education & employment, housing assistance, and a drop-in shelter for youth aged 15 – 24.

We are super passionate about the work they’re doing and are so pumped to be able to offer our services to further their mission. To date, we have designed materials for their social enterprise, holiday event, major fundraising efforts, annual impact report and more. We love being able to support this team of rad humans in their work and look forward to the next project!
